A work written for the ‘Worte ohne Lieder’ project, a part of the Dutch National Book Week in 2006. The project invited 6 writers to compose newspaper reviews of imaginary works of music, these were then given to 6 composers to conjure a piece of music that might have triggered such a review.

This work, ‘Cascade’, is written after a review by Margriet de Moor: a text about juggling, Vivier, and ending up where you started.

Written for and performed here live by Ensemble Klang, in The Hague in 2006.
